  • 2017 NATA Registration:-

  • The Nata 2017 Registration has been started from 2nd January 2017 and will be opened till 11th February 2017.
  • The registration form can be filled and submitted only through the website
  • Candidates are advised to fill the registration form as per the given instructions.
  • Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and thumb impression.
  • There is no need to send the application by post.

  • Registration Fee:-

  • The NATA registration fee is Rs. 1250/- for all the candidates. Fee payment can be done through online mode (debit/credit card, net banking) or e-challan. Candidates opting for exam city Dubai is needed to pay an additional examination fee of INR 7000 prior to issuance of admit card.

  • NATA Exam Pattern:-

  • Type of Exam: The NATA exam pattern comprises of three parts, i.e. Mathematics, General Aptitude & Drawing.
  • Mode: The exam will be conducted through offline mode (pen and paper based).

    Drawing Test:
    You will have to attempt to 3 questions:
    The drawing aptitude is judged on the following aspects:
  • Ability to sketch a given object proportionately and rendering the same in visually appealing manner.
  • Visualizing and drawing the effects of light on the object and shadows cast on surrounding.
  • Sense of perspective drawing.
  • Combining and composing given three dimensional elements to form a building or structural form.
  • Creating interesting two dimensional using given shapes and forms.
  • Creating visual harmony using colour in given composition.
  • Understanding of scale and proportions.
  • Drawing from memory through pencil sketch on themes from day to day experiences.

  • Aesthetic Sensitivity Test
    this is computer based test of one hour where candidate has to answer 40 multiple choice questions. The aesthetic sensitivity test measures perception, imagination and observation, creativity and communication along with architectural awareness and comprises of

  • visualizing three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings.
  • visualizing different sides of three dimensional objects.
  • Identifying commonly used materials and objects based on their textural qualities.
  • Analytical reasoning Mental Ability, Imaginative comprehension and expression Architectural awareness

  • NID 2017 Application Form

    Candidates can fill and submit the NID 2017 Application Form via online mode through the official site of the authority. The application form will be available from the 2nd week of October, 2016. Candidates are suggested to go through the information booklet before filling the application form.

    The application fee payment will be done through debit/credit card or by demand draft. Candidate note down that the application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

    NID Syllabus

    There is not any such fixed syllabus for NID entrance exam. Candidates can prepare for the test from these topics such as Composition, Drawing Skills, Creativity, General Mental Ability, Communication skills and Sensitivity to Environment and Subject of design. The studio test will comprises of different section in different formats like hands on practical assignment, group discussion, etc.
