ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Mr Asgar Ali is the founder & principal of this temple of art, Kalabhumi. Mr. Ali has a maestro in the field of fine arts. Coming from a middle-class family, he did his schooling from a government school from New Delhi and went on to pursue his graduation and post-graduation in Fine Arts.
Mr Asgar Ali’s contribution to building Kalabhumi into a fine institute where students are imparted with the knowledge of art.
Other valuable contributions by Mr Ali
Mr Asgar Ali visits schools to counsel students on the various career options in the field of Fine arts. He regularly holds painting competitions for children. In his career span, he also got an opportunity to visit Tihar Jail and hold workshops for the inmates there. The Prisoners, who are trained by Mr. Asgar Ali, have their artworks displayed in the International trade fair and their work was hugely appreciated by Chief Minister of Delhi Honorable Arvind Kejriwal Ji at the Trade Fair.
In his era of career, he has built many artist careers in fine arts, designing and architecture related field since the year of its inception. Now Kalabhumi is a very strong pillar of many governments & private, national international schools for fine arts fields.
Mr. Asgar Ali is the key member of many of the panel of judges in the events, competitions organized by schools, embassies, societies like Shri Venkateshwar International School, Bal Bharti School, Vandana International School, GD Goenka School, Dwarka, the embassy of Assam etc.
Mr. Asgar Ali had also arranged a painting demonstration at the Raahgiri Anniversary held in Dwarka and invited people to paint on the canvasses there to show their solidarity with the Chennai flood victims.
Mr. Asgar Ali had also been invited to national and international art fairs his artwork. He won recognition ever since he held solo and group exhibition at India, Dubai, Singapore, Mumbai, Jharkhand, and many more.

Mr. Asgar Ali is well recognised for his work in the field of fine art in India and now making India proud at the global platform by showcasing his painting “The Glass of Life” at the Dubai Art Festival. Now every Year his painting “glass of life” represented the India on international Level for the very miniature, creative and unique nature theme.
