As a part of the Hon.PM's 'Viksit Bharat Ambassador' project, a live painting workshop was organised in collaboration with the Lalit Kala Akademi and New Delhi Municipal Corporation, young and senior/eminent artists participated and painted on the theme ‘Bharat ke Badhte Kadam Viksit Bharat Ki Oar.’ @KalabhumiArts India's No1 World Records Holder Professional Fine Arts & Design Institute student joined as a volunteers. 140 Crore Indians have shown the world what people powered development is. Each and every one of us by doing our bit is a proud Viksit Bharat Ambassador. To formalise this sentiment of nation building, growth and progress, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has formally launched the ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassador Program.’ This movement is a clarion call by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for one and all to join by signing up on the Narendra Modi App and accepting the 100 day challenge of performing simple but highly impactful tasks. To further the clarion call given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister and promote the program further this is the first event to have been curated under the ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassador’ banner. In this event organised in collaboration with the Lalit Kala Akademi and New Delhi Municipal Corporation, young and senior/eminent artists were invited to draw their vision on the following theme- ‘Bharat ke Badhte Kadam Viksit Bharat Ki Oar.’ The event was attended by 2000+ participants on 7th January at Lalit Kala Akademi which included high school students, under-graduate and masters students along with senior artists. Students and faculties, HOD’s of eminent art institutions such as Jamia Millia University, Delhi College of Arts, Kalabhumi Institute of Fine Arts and Design etc. participated in the event. All participants of the event enrolled as ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassadors’ and showed keen enthusiasm to play an active role in India’s journey to become Viksit Bharat. Prizes were awarded to promote artists from all three categories- School Students, Young and Senior Artists category. Art supplies were provided by, the organisers at the venue. On the spot activities were organised to engage participants further in the ‘Viksit Bharat Ambassador’ challenge. The valedictory ceremony was presided by Shri Govind Mohan, Secretary, Ministry of Culture as Chief Guest and graced by Shri Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Member, NDMC and Shri Rahas Kumar Mohanty, Deputy Secretary (P&D) & (A&A), Lalit Kala Akademi.s
